July 2023 Update

We're making a difference:

-The Greenbelt continues staying in the news as reporters find new ways to question the provincial government's wrong-headed removal of lands from the Greenbelt.

-The Federal Government is now actively involved in determining the future of formerly "Greenbelt protected" lands close to the Rouge National Park. It is poised to use its power to effectively stop development on these lands.

These actions are in large part thanks to the efforts of you, the many people and groups across the Greater Golden Horseshoe who care about the Greenbelt.

And the efforts continue. OGA member groups are spending the summer finding innovative ways to help the public better understand that protecting the Greenbelt while building housing in existing towns and cities is the right way to deal with the many challenges facing us.
